The Rapid Motor Vehicle Company was originally established in 1901 by Max Grabowsky. They were the earliest company to ever make commercial trucks. General Motors Company (GMC) purchased the company in 1909, along with the reliance Motor Company. In 1911, they were merged into GMC, and in 1912 the first GMC Truck was shown at the New York International Auto Show. GMC takes credit for that fact that a GMC truck crossed the country in thirty days in 1916, and in 1926 a two-ton truck drove from New York to San Francisco in five days.
In 1925, GMC purchased some controlling interest in the Yellow Coach Company. They were a bus manufacturer in Chicago, Illinois. They bought the remaining interest in 1943, and renamed it the GMC Truck and Coach Division. GMC also manufactured ambulances, fire trucks, motor homes, and military vehicles. Around 1987, they phased out from manufacturing buses, to manufacturing solely light and medium duty trucks, SUV’S, pick-up trucks and vans.
GMC has manufacturing plants in North America and The Middle East. They make trucks, vans, military vehicles and SUV’s. In January, 2007, GM became the second largest selling North American vehicle.

Many people place their trust when doing business with other dealerships. Most times, the salesmen at these places feel as though this is a one- time deal, and they will not see these people again. This is what we always avoid. We never want to be associated with the typical stereo type of the used car dealer. Our customers always call us back and deal with us over and over again, every time they need a car or truck.
